  • Graduate with a minimum of 500 hours from an accredited massage school
  • Agree to be fingerprinted
  • Pass a background check

Board Certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB). Board certification is an additional set of requirements that help to distinguish us apart from other massage therapists.

  • Complete additional continuing education hours
  • Certification in CPR
  • Uphold a Code of Ethics (see Code of Ethics page)

My education consists of 1500 hours of formal massage instruction over a 3 year period at the Health Enrichment Center School for Therapeutic Massage in Lapeer Michigan. I also have over 275 continuing education hours to date.

My clinical experience includes working with a variety of professional and semi-professional athletes providing pre/post event and recovery therapies throughout Michigan. It was my honor to provide relaxation massage to our veterans at the Veterans Administration (VA) Hospital in Detroit; and to provide gentle touch massage to end of life patients and their families at HOSPICE in Goodrich. I have also been fortunate to be a team member providing Therapeutic massage to a physical therapy clientele in Clarkston.

My philosophy on massage is that touch is very powerful. It can support the body's natural ability to heal itself.  Often the cause of an issue may not be where the actual pain is felt, so I believe it is important to work with the entire body. This will assist even the most remote compensation patterns to release allowing for a more comprehensive recovery.
